Aloha from the Big Island of Hawai'i...! 6/1/09 -- What a wild ride life has been of late. In the last 18 months I have moved three times (two required major boat crossings), bought a house with my lovely partner Sherri, had my first pieces of music accepted into a publishing house, composed a string quintent, a trio (piano/flute/viola), and numerous groove pieces for ambient multimedia soundscapes. All of that in addition to The Elementalz recording and producing our first EP (due out shortly). It's been a busy time. Sherri and I are taking some weeks off this summer to re-focus as we move into the Kauai Music Festival in late July. We are excited to be gathering with such a fine group of people in this lovely island setting. You can spin our first rough mix of "Sunlight Eyes" from our EP HERE! Please check it out. The going is slow with all the distractions of my surrounding world; the incredible recreation to be had and the wondrous beauty of Hawai'i and its innumerable creatures have kept me away from the studio.
